LOCATED JUST 30 MIN NORTH WEST OF PORTLAND.
From Portland head west on Hwy 30 about 2 miles past the town of Linton. The Wapato Bridge is the only access on and off the island. There are no gas stations and limited amenities so come prepared. Immediately off the bridge there is a left turn that takes you around and under the bridge onto Gillihan rd. Drive for 5.5 miles and youll find signs for grandma Dee’s. if your familiar with Cistus Nursery we are just past the nursery.
Come down the gravel driveway, park to your right in between the plum trees and come say hello at the berry stand.

-Summer brings a lot of people out to the public beaches Willow Bar being one of my personal favorites.
-Fishing and bird watching around sturgeon lake the Columbia River and the Multnomah Channel.
-Bicycling around the island loop.
-Hiking out to warrior rock at the end of the island (2 mile hike there, 2 mile hike back) hiking through trees and beach.
-The late summer brings fall activities at the Pumpkin Patch, the Corn Maze opening Labor Day, The Patio Cafe,
